To Improve the Performance of the Public Relations Team, the Library Science Program Held an Evaluation Meeting

To mark the start of the 2022/2033 academic year, the Public Relations Team of the Library Science Study Program at the Faculty of Literature and Cultural Studies, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, held an evaluation meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at a sambel colek restaurant in the Seturan area. This evaluation meeting was attended by Iryanto Chandra, M.Eng., as the Coordinator or Chair of the Public Relations Team; Amalia Azka Rahmayani, as the new Coordinator of the Public Relations Team; and Ahmad -Anwar, Secretary of the Library Science Program, and nearly the entire Public Relations Team—comprising the website division coordinated by Salwa Nimaprilia, the design division led by Fitriana Maulinda, and the social media division managed by Eis Nur Widianingsih—as well as senior students who had previously served on the Public Relations Team.

In conjunction with the start of the odd-numbered semester, the Library Science Program’s Public Relations Team held a meeting to discuss the progress of work over the past year and to address the change in leadership. For the new term, the Public Relations Team will be chaired by Amalia Azka Rahmayani, while the main coordinator of the team remains Salwa Nimaprilia. The new coordinators leading each division are Nihay atul Lu’lu’in Nihlah for the website division, Fitriana Maulinda for the design division, and Eis Nur Widianingsih for the social media division.

We would like to express our appreciation to all members who have participated in the Library Science Study Program Public Relations Team. We would also like to thank the Head of the Library Science Program, Faculty of Literature and Cultural Studies, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Nurdin, S.Ag., S.S., M.A.; the Secretary of the Library Science Program, Faculty of Literature and Cultural Studies, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Ahmad Anwar, M.A., and Iryanto Chandra, M.Eng., as the Coordinator or Chair of the Public Relations Team for the Library Science Study Program, Faculty of Literature and Cultural Studies, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, who have consistently guided and supported the team in carrying out various activities.

The Public Relations Team discussed a number of issues related to the content and publications of the Library Science Study Program, including both challenges and improvements in performance compared to previous years. The team also discussed various topics and ideas regarding content to be uploaded in future publications of the Library Science Study Program, as well as an open recruitment drive for new members of the Public Relations Team.

It is hoped that these meetings will be held regularly and serve as a forum for networking and self-evaluation for both the coordinator and the members of the public relations team, so that the team can become more cohesive and even better in the future at presenting up-to-date and engaging information to all students and the Library Science Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
